General Meeting Notice

There will be a general meeting for all bargaining units held at the Local (23-5470 Canotek Road) on March 7th at 7:30 PM. If you have agenda items, please forward them to the Local. Also, the Spring bursary draw will be made on that date. All entrants who did not win in the fall draw are automatically included in this one. If you have NOT entered yet, please see the "forms" page and fill out the appropriate form and send it to the Local.

Also, for BELL CRAFT members, a caucus will be held AFTER the general meeting to go over the submitted bargaining proposals to select the highest priority items that will be brought to the provincial caucus meeting. If you have suggestions, please download the form on the BELL page, fill it out, and forward it on.

Fall Maggie Harbert Bursary Winners

Each year Local 34-O twice draws 10 bursaries of $500 each; once in the fall and once in the spring. Children, grandchildren or spouses of members in good standing who are in full-time post-secondary studies are eligible. Entrants who were not successful in the fall draw are automatically entered into the spring draw. If you have an eligible family member, the entry form can be found on the FORMS section of the website. The Fall winners of the 2011-2012 school year are:
